B’tzelem Elohim- Reimagining Belonging in Our Jewish Spaces: Exploring Racial Justice & Intersectionalities
ARJE (Association of Reform Jewish Educators) and ECE-RJ (Early Childhood Educators of Reform Judaism) are excited for this year’s Yom Chadash (The New Gathering), a joint professional learning conference for Jewish educators. The focus for Yom Chadash is “B’tzelem Elohim- Reimagining Belonging in Our Jewish Spaces” through the exploration of Racial Justice and Intersectionality. Yom Chadash will take place January 22-24, 2024, in Memphis, TN
The anticipated cost of the Yom Chadash is $900 and covers the direct costs of producing this event (hotel logistics and room rental, catering fees, off site costs, and supplies). The ARJE and ECE-RJ are offering two subsidies in order to increase the accessibility of our programming for the broadest possible reach:
1. An early bird rate ($800) for the Yom Chadash to help with the financial burden of the gathering.
2. A subsidized early bird rate ($750) for those that need more assistance.
If you are able, please consider paying the full cost of the gathering. Your generosity in covering the full program expense will help us to better fulfill our mission.
If you would like to contribute a donation to help fund educators attending this shared gathering please click on the appropriate link to make your contribution. ARJE, Thank You!
This Early Bird Registration is for ARJE members and will be open from June 1-August 15, 2023. (Payment must be received by August 15, 2023 to receive this discounted rate.
